I know you’ve spent your life
Chasing all the wrong ones for love,
The people that never deserved you
That would never have loved you right.
You poured your heart into so many
That turned their back and walked away,
As you hoped to find your person,
Left holding your heart in countless pieces.
All the things they never gave you
I give to you gladly, willingly and more.
I can’t imagine my life without you
And you’ve changed my world so quickly.
I know your broken past has made your heart heavy,
But let’s put the past behind us
And let’s start building a wonderful future,
Full of our hopes, dreams and love.
Maybe we won’t always know where we are going,
But we will end up where we are meant to be,
Together, hand in hand, as we find our way,
Enjoying our life and love, everyday.
I won’t let a day go by that I don’t cherish you,
Showing you in endless ways that you’re loved,
Making you feel as special as you are to me.
My soulmate, my heart, my twin flame.

LOVE IS MORE THAN MONEY

Little girls who seek riches and wealth,
Should know their choices have health.
The poor boys who they turn away,
Might have true love to display.
The rich daddies who they seek,
May have secrets they won’t speak.
But the little girls who go astray,
May find themselves in disease’s sway.
So, little girls choose wisely, I say,
For love is not in wealth’s array.
For love is in a caring heart,
Not in riches from the start.
The poor boy who you turn away,
May be the one who’s here to stay.
So, little girl don’t choose so blindly,
The path you take could be unkindly.
Look beyond the riches and gold,
Love, it’s not bought or sold.
It’s found in the simplest things,
Like a smile or a lover’s ring.
