Malawian football squads have been grinding hard for the upcoming season, kicking off with the Chifundo Charity Cup on the 6th of March where FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will take on Silver Strikers.

So, last season’s champs, the Bullets, ain’t messing around. They’ve beefed up their squad with some slick new signings. Lloyd Alron Banega’s coming in to boss up the midfield, while Babatunde Adepoju’s back to bring that killer finish. And yo, they even snagged Innocent Nyasulu from Tigers to hold it down in goal. Plus, they’re bringing back Chikumbutso Salima and Yamikani Mologeni from last season’s loan, and bumping up Chrispin Mapemba from the reserves. Talk about stacking up!

Silver Strikers, last season’s runners-up, ain’t slacking either. They got Peter Mponda as their new head coach, and they’ve been scooping up fresh talent left and right—Christopher Gototo, McDonald Lameck, Charles Chipala, George Chikooka, and Binwell Katinji. Looks like they’re hungry for that top spot. And don’t sleep on Mighty Mukuru Wanderers, they’re shaking things up big time. New board, new tech squad led by Swanzilimo Ramadhan, and they’re bringing in some heavy hitters like Clement Nyondo and Blessings Singini. They’re promoting seven  ballers from their reserve squad too. Nomads mean business this season!

With all this action in the transfer game, it’s looking like FCB Nyasa Big Bullets are in prime position to defend their titles. They got that solid core and some killer new additions. Wanderers and Silver Strikers might need some time to gel with their new setups, so it could be smooth sailing for the Bullets to keep their reign going strong.

Get hyped, ‘cause this football season’s gonna be lit!
